Test Preparation at Study Island

Welcome to Study Island!

Wilson Area High School now has access to a great resource for preparing our students for the PSSA standardized tests and Math, Reading, and Writing Remediation.  Study Island, can be utilized in the classroom and at home.  Students can access Study Island from any computer with an Internet connection and a web browser by clicking the link below.

Study Island is a program divided into sections based on Math, Reading, and Writing.  Each section is made up of 10 to 25 topics, which contain about 20 to 25 questions each.  Most topics are accompanied by a lesson, which includes some brief information about the material covered by the questions.  Each lesson also provides the students with an interactive educational game.  The best part of Study Island is the feedback provided to the students, parents, and teachers.  Study Island provides important feedback such as questions missed, time spent on various subjects, a comparison to fellow classmates, and a comparison to students across Pennsylvania.
