The message (as shown in the picture below) "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options..." is a security feature in Windows XP Service Pack 2. A malicious web site may misuse this feature to infiltrate or harm your PC.
There is no danger on this site. Allowing this action will allow content to play, such as updating the date or allow the song 'All Star' to play, nothing malicious. This is perfectly safe. This song can be found playing on the Main page (Index.html) and the Lyrics page (Lyrics.html).
To hear the song, click on the bar as directed and choose "Allow blocked content" from the choices, then click the OK button when prompted.

Your hearing "All Star" by the group SmashMouth in MIDI format. The MIDI format is a standard for representing musical information in a digital format. The song lyrics can be found by clicking HERE.
Some windows open in a new window rather than the current window. If a link takes you out of the WASD site (i.e. the Calendar), the link will open in a new page.
Perhaps you hear a sound or your mouse pointer changes briefly when the page fails to open? If so, your Pop-Up stopper may be preventing the page from opening. These pages open much like those pop-up ads. This site however has no ads, AdWare or SpyWare, only information.
Check your Pop-Up Stopper utility help section on how to add this site to the list of 'safe' sites where pop-ups are allowed, or temporarily disable your utility while at this site. Sometimes double-clicking a link will bypass the pop-up stopper and open the page.
The menu uses JavaScript. Check your browser options and security settings and configure them so that they allow JavaScript. Meanwhile you can use the Site Map link at the bottom of each page.
The Date generator uses JavaScript. Check your browser options and security settings and configure so that they allow JavaScript.
If you do not have Java installed on your PC, you can download it free from http://www.java.com and click on the Free Download of Java button.
You are not likely to get a virus, AdWare or SpyWare from this site. There are no 'program' files to be downloaded. There is some Java code used to generate dates, menus and other features, but nothing harmful. The computer used to author this site and the web server are each protected by a different anti-virus program updated daily. All web site files are scanned by an AntiVirus program as they are uploaded to the web server.
There is always a slim chance that site, like any other web site can be 'hacked' and modified to cause damage, but is not very likely. When a site is hacked, it is usually just defaced.
These items require Adobe PDF Reader to view the documents. Download and install the Adobe Reader to view these files. The program is free. Click HERE or on the icon below to download Adobe Reader.
