When are the meetings?
PTA meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month in the
Avona Elementary School library. If school is closed due to a
holiday or weather, the meeting is automatically cancelled. Please check this web
sites
News page or
Calendar
to see if it is rescheduled.
How do I attend?
Just walk in and seat yourself, all are welcome. We request that you
please sign our attendance sheet.
How do I bring a concern I have before the board?
You may e-mail, call or otherwise consult a PTA officer or Committee
Head prior to the meeting and request adding your concern to the agenda.
If you arrive late and your question is related to one of the
committee reports, you may wish to wait and be heard after that committee's report. Your question may be answered by that
committees report. If in doubt, just ask. Your concerns and
input are very important to us.
If I have a question on something being reported or would like to hear
more
details, how and when can I pose my question?
Please just ask, there is no wrong time.
How is the meeting organized & run?
The PTA meetings follow an agenda. A copy follows to give you
an idea of how the meeting flows. Other items may be brought up that are
not on the agenda.
