PTA Fundraisers

The PTA holds three major fund raising events each year. These events help pay for the numerous class trips, assembly guest speakers that come to our school and special school supplies such as TV's, VCR's, Digital Camera, Die-Cut machine stamps and many other items purchased to enrich the students school experience.

Box Tops for Education

Are you a Box Tops Booster Club member? If not go to www.boxtops4education.com and sign up today! You can provide 5 Box Tops (.50) for Avona! The Booster Club will send you e-mails with valuable coupons and many recipe ideas. Explore your e-mails for a chance to win.

Throughout the year there is always a contest underway to collect BoxTops. This year we changed how Box Top winners are selected . Unlike years past, the student with the most Box Tops will not automatically be the winner.

Beginning this fall, a student will earn one contest entry for every 25 Box Tops brought in. The more Box Tops one brings in, the more contest entries one earns. Each contest entry increases ones chance of winning. Each student that brings in 25 Box Tops has a chance to win. Good luck and keep collecting! Each BoxTop earns Avona PTA ten cents, so Every Box Top counts!

Dear Parents, Faculty and Other Supporters,

Our school participates in General Mills' Box Tops for Education program to help earn extra cash to buy the things it needs. This year our goal is to raise $1,500.00 to purchase Field Trips & PTA funded activities for the students. We could really use your help to make a difference for our school.

Since 1996, Box Tops for Education has helped schools raise more than $90 million. Getting involved is so simple! Box Tops provides three easy ways to earn cash for our school through everyday activities like buying groceries, shopping online and making purchases with a credit card – all at no additional cost to you.

Clip Box Tops from hundreds of your favorite General Mills products found throughout your local grocery store. Each Box Top is worth 10¢ to our school.

You can get a complete list of BoxTop products by clicking HERE to open a PDF file with the list.

Join the Box Tops Booster Club and start every online shopping trip at the Box Tops Marketplace. Our school earns up to 10% of each qualifying purchase. Shop at over 175 of your favorite stores including JC Penney and Lands' End.

Use this low APR, no annual fee Box Tops Visa card at over 20 million locations worldwide. A full 1% of each purchase goes back to our school.

In addition, if you join the Box Tops for Education Booster Club online, your support will be rewarded with great benefits for you and your family like downloadable coupons and easy meal ideas. When you sign up at boxtops4education.com, our school will earn 5 Bonus Box Tops!

School and family budgets are tighter than ever. Box Tops offers a chance to help our school just by doing the things we do every day. If you want to know more about what you can do for our school, just go to boxtops4education.com for all the information you’ll need.

As of Fall, 2005 each student will earn one contest entry for every 25 Box Tops brought in. The more Box Tops one brings in, the more contest entries one earns. Each contest entry increases ones chance of winning.

Each student that brings in 25 Box Tops has a chance to win. To help you with collecting the 25 BoxTops, all Students were provided with a Blast-Off Map. If it was lost or you would like one for your next 25 BoxTops, you can open another one by clicking HERE or on the BlastOff picture to the left. Once the PDF opens, you can print as many copies as needed in black & white or color. Be sure to write the students name and teacher on each map.

You can also put loose BoxTops in a sealed sandwich bag (with the students name on it) in the box found in each classroom. The classroom bringing in the most BoxTops gets an ice cream party and the teacher of that class receives some kind of gift or gift card donated by area merchants.

Good luck and keep collecting! Every Box Top counts!
