When I'm not teaching in the library, I like to travel to visit friends and family and to experience new places and cultures here and abroad. I also like to go biking, hiking and skiing with my husband and friends. I am not always on the go, though. When I'm home, I like to garden and read. |

The most influential person in my life is my former music teacher from elementary school. I have known him for over 34 years. He has taught me SO many things over the years, but mostly to not give up. My husband is my inspiration, because he shows such motivation and determination in all aspects of his life. He is also very supportive and devoted to his students , family, and friends. My favorite quote is: "One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had, nor what my clothes were like, but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child" (Unknown)

My favorite picture book is "Too Much Noise" by Ann McGovern because it shows that how we feel about things depends on our current experience. |

The most influential person in my life is my father, Edward Quier, because he taught me that I can do anything if I am willing to put the thought, time and effort into doing it. My father and I get together at least once a week to walk and talk about all the things we are both doing. My favorite quote is "Success
is not having what you want, but wanting what you have."
