Philip Lauer Middle School Mission Statement

To create and maintain a safe nurturing environment that is conducive to academic excellence and the development of responsible and capable citizens through collaboration with students, parents, faculty, and administration. Our team approach will utilize multiple resources, strategies, and technologies while recognizing the unique characteristics and transitional needs of the middle school student.

Important Information

  • October 27-30: PTA Book Fair
  • November 5, 6: 4-Sight Testing for all PLMS students
  • November 13: 1st marking period report cards sent home with students
  • November 13: National Junior Honor Society/Student Council-sponsored Dance for all PLMS students, 7:30-10:00 pm
  • November 16-20: American Education Week - Parent visitation welcomed on 11/17 (7:45 am - 2:35 pm), 11/18 and 11/19 (7:45 am - 12:50 pm)
  • November 18, 19: Parent/Teacher Conferences - Please call Mrs. Bala at 484-373-6110 to schedule an individual conference
  • November 26, 27, and 30: All WASD schools closed
